"Drei Geistliche Lieder" by Félix Mendelssohn for choir and orchestra was performed at the closing concert, on Monday 17th.
With the performance of: Alejandra Herrera (mezzosoprano) and the selected choirs all conducted by Maestro Antonio María Russo.

"San Juan Coral" gives study possibilities to choirs, conductors and singers.
At the beginning, this opportunity was just offered to selected choirs, who had to prepare a given piece, which was exhaustively studied at the Choral Studies Workshop in charge of Maestro Antonio Russo and then performed at the Closing Concert of the Festival.
The great interest generated by this Workshop, motivated the organizers to extend and diversify this activity by the inclusion of other workshops and lectures, set on a convenient schedule and attended by many conductors and other musicians from Argentina and other countries.
This way, those who come to the Festival, have the opportunity to study all day long and enjoy the evening concerts, closing their active participation with all the selected choirs at the Closing Concert.
